It really doesn't seal good

Took several tries to achieve seal and vacuum and in most cases the vacuum was not effective, although it did seal. It is cheaply constructed, compared to others I have seen in stores such as Bed and Bath. I do not anticipate a long life for this unit, it heats up fast and cools down very slowly. I would not recommend it.

I have been really disappointed in this particular vacuum sealer. I was excited to see so many good reviews with a great price point, but I definitely got what I paid for. The suction was not powerful enough to remove all the air from the bags, leaving space and lots of air in the meat. Sometimes it could not even fully seal the bag, so air was getting back into the meat. I am returning and have purchased a higher rated vacuum sealer. Sad this one did not live up to our expectations!

This first couple of days, I thought this vacuum sealer was great. A week after using this thing, it no longer sucks air out of bags (and I read the troubleshooting tips in the directions, still does not work). Additionally, one of the two side clips fell off already. Yes, this one is probably the cheapest one you will find, so it makes sense that it is very poor quality. If you plan to use a vacuum sealer machine for years, then spend a little bit more money and get a good one.
