Its good for the price. I dont know anything about smokers untill I purchased this. The only real problem I've had is temp control. I have even place installation around it. Still getting to temp is an issue.

Built-in thermometer won't read higher than 190F.

The main body is built with a very cheap thin metal which is most likely why it is doesn't maintain temps.

I bought this as a Valentine's Day gift for my husband and he LOVED it - at first. He smoked pretty much everything he could get his hands on for two weeks after he got this, but then the seal began to leak and the paint began to peel so he had to return it. It's an alright smoker for the price if you don't mind the peeling paint and are okay with hacking together your own seal. It was on the smaller side, it couldn't fit a whole turkey, for instance, but it could fit a chicken. But he smoked hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, sausage, chicken thighs, and other things of that nature.

Bought this GIANTEX vertical smoker about a month ago. Assembly was easy, price was right. The door needed some RTV seal to better hold in the smoke/heat.

The door thermostat is off by about 25* so no problem I got an oven thermometer to read the correct temperature. But this things were easy to fix and easy to remedy.

We fire and forget. Best of all (aside from the looks) it produces the best food I've ever smoked.
