Answer: This is a decent fish grip for the money. It’s a pistol grip style gripper that holds the weight measurement. It’s actually calibrated. I use it on blue fish mostly because of the teeth.

Jake : Absolute garbage…buy a normal name brand scale.

I really wanted to love it because of the pistol grip design, but this thing is absolute junk. I don’t know how it has positive reviews. The plastic is very cheap and will probably break the first time outdoors. The power/function button only does what it’s supposed to about one out of every five attempts. It gets stuck on KG and I can’t get it to switch to LB without removing the battery, which is a CR2032 and not included BTW. While testing I weighed the same item 5 different times and each time it came up as a completely different number. It has an automatic hold feature so it just chooses when to stop weighing and hold and it is never accurate. It also reads as weight when you pull the lever to open the grip, and will often engage in “hold” mode before you’ve even picked up the fish or gripped on to anything. Trust me just buy a better scale, this is not worth the hassle or the money. I have to assume the reviews are scams, probably made by the seller with different accounts, since they all say global and don’t all have a description.
