Eh...they are much cheaper than the original name brand whopper plopper. Unfortunately they do not perform as well.
These don’t float, so you have to really crank on them to get them to resurface and start their action. At these point the lures have already spanned approximately 5-8 feet before spinning at the surface. On these also the entire lure will rotate the majority of the time your reeling.
The original name brand ones will float and start their action smoothly and immediately.
I’ve used these lures twice now and haven’t caught anything with them,I know that’s subjective but I’ve had MUCH better results from the original name brands. I tried these out because I didn’t want to spend $16-20 to replace the one I got stuck in a brush pile and couldn’t get loose but unfortunately these aren’t the replacements. I’d pass.

Bobsin : Big fish caught
Look at my pictures, I have used this Luya to catch a big fish, which is really exciting. I never caught such a big fish before. This Luya suit is very suitable. I am looking forward to the next catch!

The smallmouth bass action I get to experience here on my home waters of the Clinch River in northeast Tennessee is as good as it gets. While spinner, crank and jerk baits all produce just as well -sometimes even better- nothing beats seeing the fish explode on a topwater lure! Having three different patterns with this package is awesome. Sometimes working over a pool and having no strikes can change just by tying on a different pattern.

First one broke on the 3rd cast. The tail completely came off. 2nd one separated in the middle and stopped spinning. 3rd one held up and worked great. But 1 out of 3 isn't great for the price. Disappointed.

This is NOTHING like a whopper plopper. The tail piece is loose, the fin is super soft. The action isn’t the same, the back end of the bait sinks. It doesn’t come through the water right and twists even if you add split rings and swivels. Just look at the difference in body shape...
1 : 2 outta 3 aint good
Received three lures in a set. First one did not work properly at all - the entire lure spun around, not just the tail. One did work properly and the third worked as long as the crank speed was not too high - if it was, then the lure body began to spin as well as the tail. Can't tell if the body is spinning until it's cranked in close to you. Disappointing quality.

Should have know from the price point....but alas. These were poor knock offs of whopper ploppers. The "bonus" lures were also very poorly made. They were flat and in no way would they spin in the water. It was a very disappointing experience. Don't fall for the artificially inflated ratings, these are not quality!
