Do these float, do these rattle , do they have saltwater hooks and are they actually 3.4"? Thanks

Answer: I have not used them all yet, but one of the five floated and one didn’t. No rattle. I have only fished fresh water, so can’t answer to that. The size is correct.

These are great, not as buoyant as the Berkeley or whopper plopper. But they get the job done.

The action is not as good as the original Whopper Plopper and there are not many ways to tune the lure. The hooks need sharpening before use. That being said, the lures run adequately and I did catch bass my first time using them.

So I will say, the blue lure caught a small (1.5lb) largemouth on the 5th cast, but that's been the only upside to these. I wanted to save money over the actual Whopper Ploppers but these just don't perform nearly as well. The tails don't spin freely enough and so the whole lure starts rotating, leading to twisted line. I quickly retired these and spent the money on the real deal.

These are decent. There was some flash between the main body and tail that needed to be cleaned. They cast a country mile. I got several hits by casting the lure and waiting up to 40 seconds before retrieving. A gentle pull will cause the bait to rise and fall and get the fish’s attention. Then start a retrieve and they take the bait. Hookup ratio is quite high. The hooks are strong and very sharp. They are not the same quality as whopper ploppers, but not the same cost either.

These Whopper Plopper baits really work! Caught a nice size bass on my very first cast using the gold color. I already ordered another set of these, just add a swivel and you are good to go. Love how the bass blow up with these, I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Caught this bass the first day out with these lures. They move lots of water and make a good plopping racket. AND best of all, at $4 bucks each, I didn't feel so bad when i lost 2 of these to snags. Actually, I just ordered another box!

Great lure for my application. The lures performance and rotating tail action worked flawlessly. The top water action can be used as a straight crank or short pop action. The rotating tail creates a water disturbance that mimics a struggling or injured baitfish. It attracts active bass during major and minor feed times. The lures durability should be appreciated. Even after several weed snags the lure and hooks held their shape without damage. Caught a fish on second cast. Great lure.

Timothy rushing : A MUST OWN FOR WHOPPER PLOPPER FANS!

Haven't had a chance to take them out to the lake yet however compared to my river2river whopper plopper they feel exactly the same and I got 4 for the price I'd pay for one! If you want a whopper plopper I recommend grabbing these that way if you ever lose one tou don't feel like you just through $20 in the water.

These are a cheep version of a very good and expensive top water lure. They do catch fish but it would perform much better if it would float. As soon as it hits the water it starts to sink. So, you have to start reeling instantly. It produces a great plop, plop sound as it is being retrieved but you can't pause the retrieve, which would be more productive. You can buy five of these cheep knock offs for the price of one original. I still haven't bought an original so, it's about what you want to spend.

Works great! First day out caught some nice 4+lb largemouth and a few smaller ones. Glad I ordered 2 sets. Shared with my friends. One thing I noticed when my line broke on a bird nest the lure sinks.(lost that one) Works great close to grass beds and in deeper waters. I was using a jerk bait motion.

These poppers didn't float correctly at all. They sink slowly, all the way down and can only achieve true performance at a more than steady(almost fast) reel. Returned immediately and refunded. Boo
