Do these float, do these rattle , do they have saltwater hooks and are they actually 3.4"? Thanks

Answer: I have not used them all yet, but one of the five floated and one didn’t. No rattle. I have only fished fresh water, so can’t answer to that. The size is correct.

Got these as a gift, heard they worked really well but you’ve gotta take every fishing suggestion with a generous amount of skepticism.

I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised, they worked very well. The red and clear especially. The one knock I will say is they are weighted a little odd. I couldn’t use a swivel with them, had to tie right on to it, otherwise it sank. When it does float it’s tail heavy so the nose comes straight up like a bobber.

That being said though the action and noise from the spinning tail works great, it’s a very aggressive and well working topwater.

Wanted to try a whopper plopper without dropping 12-15 for a single lure. Grabbed this bunch and gave it a shot. Used it for less than 2 hours and landed 2 small dinks and 1 mule!

These are a cheep version of a very good and expensive top water lure. They do catch fish but it would perform much better if it would float. As soon as it hits the water it starts to sink. So, you have to start reeling instantly. It produces a great plop, plop sound as it is being retrieved but you can't pause the retrieve, which would be more productive. You can buy five of these cheep knock offs for the price of one original. I still haven't bought an original so, it's about what you want to spend.

These Whopper Plopper baits really work! Caught a nice size bass on my very first cast using the gold color. I already ordered another set of these, just add a swivel and you are good to go. Love how the bass blow up with these, I am extremely happy with my purchase!

These are decent. There was some flash between the main body and tail that needed to be cleaned. They cast a country mile. I got several hits by casting the lure and waiting up to 40 seconds before retrieving. A gentle pull will cause the bait to rise and fall and get the fish’s attention. Then start a retrieve and they take the bait. Hookup ratio is quite high. The hooks are strong and very sharp. They are not the same quality as whopper ploppers, but not the same cost either.
