We bought this gift for our nephew who is just starting to take on fishing. It is a nice compact size and perfect for a little boy.
The only disappointment is that the hooks are a bit large so we are adding a few more lures.

These appear to be more suitable for freshwater fishing but I will try them on my next visit to the coast. A pretty good value for the price, look at costs at Academy and Bass Pro Shops for comparison. I would like to find a set specifically for salt water fishing.
