Do not float. The group of lures sent to me were slow sinking lures. I needed topwater for the location I fish.

They worked great. I was a bit worried as some said the whole body spins. But these frog ones float from the start and work great compared to other spinning tail lures that seem to be a hit or miss. These came with a case which I think helped keep them in great shape!

I got the frog lures. I was really surprised with the quality of this after reading some of the reviews. The action is great. I had zero line twist unless the moving parts got grass or weeds in it and that had nothing to do with the quality of it. It’s weighted perfectly. You can really get a long cast and still floats like it should. The treble hooks on this lure allows you to land just about every fish that hits it unlike most top water frog baits. This is not poorly made. Well worth the money and a lot of fun to fish with.

So I have only drug these behind my boat once. I tried various speeds from 1.5mph all the way up to 5.0mph.
The good. They do churn water at any speed and the faster you go the more they kick up water behind them. I could totally see how a lure like this would attract fish.
Now the bad, and I don't know if this is specific to these lures or these types of lures just do this, but they tail spins fine but the entire body spins too. So after about 5 football fields of dragging behind the boat your line is twisted beyond belief. No matter how good your swivel is it wont matter. The entire bait rotates in the water faster than the swivel can keep up.
Again I don't know enough about these plopper style baits to know if that is just common with everyone of them or is this just a flaw in these baits. I feel like a spinning frog in the water is not what a fish is looking for.
I will update after more usage.
