was introduced to fishing at age 3, nearly 69 yrs ago. I try to keep up with advances in gear & terminal tackle. I wonder why lure developers took so long on this simple variation on stick baits, jointed minnow. The segments on these minnows creates a life-like swimming action.

The thin wire trebles tend to get hung up between the body segments, so I will swap them out bfor thicker wire trebles at least 2 sizes larger. My targets are Clear Lake largemouths & Davis Lake pike. Straight out-of-the-box,these lures are OK for hatchery trout, crappie, & smaller bass; I pursue the hawgs, hence, bigger hooks.
