Answer: I don't know but this was the biggest piece of junk. I could never get it to work. Instructions were ridiculous. Unless you are prolific in chinese.

I just got this and I love it. It gets hot fast and heats perfectly. The cutter works really well and is super sharp. I just charged it up and it took about 20 minutes or so (probably less). The USB gets a little hot so I would time the charge and keep an eye on it.

The device closes the bags through heat. It's fun to use and more practical than looking for something to tie your bags with. It comes with a slicer that you can use to slice open your bags. I love the magnet at the bottom of it which allows me to stick it to the fridge so I know I can never lose it. I feel like the magnet isn't very strong and with minor accidental force applied from the top, or a hit, it would knock the device down so be wary. The best part though, it's rechargable! It's charged by a Micro USB connector. I wish it was Micro USB C but not a deal breaker. Give it a try!

The cutter does not cut the bag in a smooth, even cut. It is difficult to get the sealer to start at the end of the bag and you have to run it over the bag quickly so as not to burn through the bag.

I received the chip bag sealer over the weekend. i like the size of the product. i was debating on a full size vacuum sealer, though those would be a lot larger as this product is a perfect size for the need of this item. I didn’t realize at first the bottom was magnetic which was awesome and I was able to hang the sealer for convenient storage right on the refrigerator. I had a lot of small cereal bags that my kid opens and doesn't finish (snap shot attached from after sealing it). Even with a clip they go bad after a couple of days in which the sealer would retain its freshness much longer and also which was a perfect practice run to seal and also open. the product heats up well after about a minute and I was able to go slow across the bag which worked perfect on the first try. i did a second and quick 3rd pass just incase too even though i was pretty sure the first pass was fine. I had the heat setting on 2 which worked good on the cereal bags and also 2 thicker chip bags. the larger bags and its material took only a few seconds longer. I did try also on the side of a thinner bag and realized the heat setting needed to be a one instead. The instructions do mention all the steps but like others mention it is a little trial and error depending of the thickness and material. overall for the price, size , portability and it does work and pretty quick it is pretty good and worth the freshness and less need of bag clips.

I have one of those full size bulky bag dealers that double as a vacuum sealer. As much as I love that.. I have to say this is much more handy. Being wireless and rechargeable is very convenient. I enjoy the fact it is much more compact as well. I can bring it with me on outings with my son, he never finished his food. And to work, road trips, anywhere. It's great. Some reason I do sometimes have trouble dealing the entire bag from one end to the other.. that could be user error on my part though. I'm not sure. Overall it's a great item, and I use it much more often than I realized I would.

It works "OK" but no real instructions so its sort of a try till you get it right sort of deal. I finally did get to where I could seal some bags with it, but if you are not careful some bags melt before you can move it on across. Just depends on the bag. Too little pressure wont seal, too much it melts and rips so takes some practice. Find it more hassle than it is worth so I just use my clips again

The sealer includes a cutter, you need to turn it back to seal. I find it useful to cleanly open a bag, but I cut mine by accident the first time I was trying to seal. You need to tune a bit the speed you move the sealer to properly seal a bag without holes, but after a bit of practice it works fine.

Sadly we are returning this ... it is not been easy to use; I have not been abl to make it work but my husband could.
The few things we sealed seemed solidly sealed, could shake it upside down, then few days later I got out the cereal and half the bag had unsealed!
Also the cutting edge was awful ... it was ragged and skipped parts, we had to use scissors to recut so we could seal the bags.
Very disappointed in this product.

It took a couple of tries to learn how to use it but I finally figured it out. It has sealed every bag I've tried. You have to seal them slow and steady or you will have spots that don't seal. It also has a magnet on the back so I put it on the fridge for quick access.
