How can convert to battery cable

Answer: I’m not sure I use mine in fresh water the web site says rub some Vaseline on the outside before using this will keep barnacle from forming on it. Will have to take out and clean then reapply every couple months.

Answer: YES! Once a month, or more often, you'll have to take it out of the water, scrape the gunk off and coat with vaseline.

Answer: Any 12VDC battery will work. Depending on how long you intend to use the light. I use a small car battery and it lasts for ten hours or more.

Can I use an extension cord with this 30’ product? My dock outlet is a ways from the water.

Answer: Most likely.

Does it float and how is it anchored to bottom ?

Answer: doesn’t float but the tide moves it too much so I tied it to a cinder block and now it works great

Can i use this to plug in to my regular power outlet outside?

Answer: If your power outlet is literally outside your home, by most city building codes it would be GFI (ground fault interrupt) wired. So, yes your Green Blob would safely connect there - ours does.

What’s the optimal depth to hang the light?

Answer: I didn't have good luck with this light at all. Used it for 6 months and the only thing that ever came around it were perch (sunfish). I tried several depths from 4'-12' under my boathouse. I would of course leave it there for several weeks at a given depth. I eventually put it on the shelf. I HATE to give a poor review on anything but in my case this is how it went. You will have to pull it up every 10 days or so to wipe the lake/pond grim off of it. That's uderstandable and not a big deal.

At first, the light didn’t arrive but it was lost by USPS at the sorting facility. Perhaps a worker was a fisherman! I contacted the mfg and they got it straightened out and I received it in 2 days. I installed on my dock on a saltwater creek in FL using a low cost outdoor 12v 5A supply I ordered on Amazon. I control it with a smart plug. The light is well constructed and looks like it will last. The cable is heavy and the underlying wire is decent gauge. As for results, as soon as it lit at dusk, glass minnows congregated around it, followed by lots of snook. My grandson loved watching the fish! I’ll post some pics and update to see how it ages. Video shows the 7500 lumen compared to a 1000 lumen light from another vendor. Definitely more fish

Junk junk junk. Bought two used a few times cause was not able to mount them. One stop working about 4 uses. Contacted them they said it was out of warranty. Sold me another one for “cost” what a sucker. Finally got them mounted Now the other two a year latter have stopped working!!! Ran 6 hours a night !!! Junk products!!! Shame on you guys ripping people off!!!

This light is very well constructed and I have no doubt it will last a very long time! However, I've had it in my boat house now for a couple of months at least (24/7) and have not seen any baitfish attracted to it at all. No lake minnows and no shad. I do have a fair amount of sunfish (perch) but that's it. I have adjusted it from 3' to about 7' deep to see if that would help. In all fairness this is fishing so the topic alone is difficult to predict! I did expect by now to have at least some shad but none so far. The lake I fish is full of thread fin and gizzard shad so I had high hopes. I still have it in the water and still hope for change.
