For the bass & walleye liquids, would they be effective if i were to use them in lakes that i hardly ever catch anything in ?

Answer: The bass one for me is very effective regardless of fresh or salt water actually. I've even caught halibut with it it you can believe it. Good stuff.

How long is the shelf life on this bait enhancer? Is there an expiration date on the tube you received? Thanks.

Answer: From what I've researched, there really is no expiration date because the bait used in each bottle is fully stabilized. With that said, liquid mayhem uses live bait so you don't want to leave it sitting it the sun on your boat deck for an entire day.

Answer: Ther there are lots of attractions to use to catch catfish a lot of them are natural some are man-made. I believe the catfish sent will only increase your chances with the chicken livers. Try your own test used two separate bobers two separate hooks one with chicken livers one with chicken livers and scent atractent. Good luck and good fishing.

Answer: The key to any form of fishing is to locate the fish. The term "fish attractant" is sometimes misunderstood in that it may get lethargic fish to strike when they would otherwise have ignored the bait and it will certainly get fish to hold the bait longer allowing for more hook sets and more fish in the boat. Unfortunately, if you are not on fish, an attractant of any sort won't pull fish in from the other side of the lake. With that said, I have seen 10-1 catch ratios between a bait with liquid mayhem and one without. Their are several independent blog posts online illustrating similar results. Good luck!

what is the scent to work the best for salt water (sea) on shore fishing?

Answer: Both our Shad scent and crawfish scent have been the most popular for salt water. For fish feeding on crustaceans, go with Crawfish. For fish feeding on bait fish, go with Shad. Good luck!

How well does it work for Catfish on a worm?

Answer: I use it on artificial soft and hard bodied baits. I personally haven't used it for catfish but I know people have. I believe the garlic Minnow would work best. I would add a small piece of plastic worm with Liquid Mayhem on it to your hook with a nightcrawler.

Answer: I've tried all of their scents and find the Garlic minnow to work best for cats. They call it a walleye scent but it is extremely versatile. I fished a walleye tournament recently and soft plastics with Garlic Minnow out fished live worms all day. This stuff works!

Answer: I've found that most of the Liquid Mayhem scents work for multiple species. Garlic Minnow seems to work the best for cats. Their Pike/Muskie scent has been working really well for me for salmon and trout also. Hope this helps.

I'm sure items will work great for fishing but even inside of the boxes they stink, BAD! We bought these as a gift for my grandpa for Xmas so before we could even wrap them we had to put the box inside of a ziplock bag and then wrapped it! Not a pleasant smell to have throughout your house!

Being an outdoor writer for the last 15 years, I have been fortunate to try a lot of fish attractants that are out on the market. Some worked. Many failed.
For the last two months I have been testing the Liquid Mayhem scent by Rage Fish Attractants. First thoughts? Potent. The smell is the real deal. This can only help in attracting fish initially, but more importantly, making them hang on to your bait longer.
My favourite quality about this new scent? Adhesion. Unlike sprays that wash off after the first cast, this gel scent is thick and remarkably adhesive. Rage Fish Attractant Liquid Mayhem is by far the best scent additive I have ever used on all my fishing tackle. From crankbait, to jigs, and especially soft plastics, this stuff HOLDS on to whatever you choose to throw at your target species. I spend a lot of time on the water and this stuff flat out works. Liquid Mayhem is something to rave about. These scents made from real bait are extremely strong. Not messy and sticks to the lure incredibly well. A little also goes a long way...up to 25-30 casts before needing to reapply. I won't be on the water without my Liquid Mayhem.

This is a very effective product for Flyfishing, if you are not a purist that is. I think of it as a cover scent to mask the sunscreen or other odors I might put on a fly while handling it. That helps me not feel too guilty while I out fish my friends 3-5:1. IT FLAT WORKS on trout!!!

I got this in a MTB and now it's all I use. I have a few lakes around me that don't allow live bait or worms. This stuff works just as good as a worm. I coat a trout magnet in it and I'll catch crappie and panfish all day. It also catches more bass than any other scent I've used. I wouldn't recommend storing it long term tho. It seems to hold together for a month or two, then it starts to decay a little. It usually doesn't last long enough to get to that point for me. I HIGHLY recommend this stuff. I'm going to try the other scents they sell next spring but the worm scent is my go to.

What I like most about Liquid Mayhem is the fact that it's more like a paste than a liquid and as such it lasts longer on your baits. I normally fish wading tournaments and the smaller sized tubes are also much more convenient to carry than any of the other products I've seen out there. I use it every time I go out and swear by it's results. I highly reccommend getting some.
