Tyler Durden : Cheap lures that seem effective

I was reluctant to buy these since they seem like cheap chinese rapala knock offs. I decided to get them based on reviews and price.
The overall quality of these lures seems pretty good. They have a good weight to them and the hooks are sharp.
I tried the gold colored lure since I don’t have any that color.
On the first cast, I caught a 2 pound pickerel.
I gave these 4 stars as I don’t like the action of them. They don’t make much of a “pop” sound like a rebel or rapala.
I’ll use them some more and add a star if they are truly great lures.

Very nice quality. Use a small drill it to open the top hole that is covered to have a jet of water shoot over the lure and splash behind the lure for better action.

I am pretty impressed with these lures. I'm relatively inexperienced at fishing. Someone recommended that I buy popper lures for fishing in shallow water during the bass spawn. Boy, were they right. I caught one on my second cast after watching a video on youtube on how to properly fish with a popper. I think these are a great value too. The hooks are quite sharp. The fish I caught in fact didn't even have the hook in his mouth. He struck the popper and the hook went into it's nostril. Anyhow, I recommend these, they are a good value and seeem to be well made and they work!
