What the Best color to buy?

Answer: It depends on what species you are targeting, but generally I have good luck with crawfish colored or silver/gold (anything that looks like bait).

Answer: I have bluegrass and monkey milk. These colors match some of the baitfish that are in my area. These are fairly natural looking colors but others will work at different times. You just have to experiment. These are great baits and also use the larger size. The jig head color seems to matter at times as well. Experiment and Mix them up.

Avid Angler : Color is inconsistent, and sometimes not enough at all.

In the last four months I have ordered nearly two dozen Bobby Garland plastic crappie baits in several styles and colors. Only the baby shad baits have I had good luck with, the rest including their Minnow Mind’R, Slab Slay’R, Swim’R’s and just lately the Itty Bit Swim’R I have had issues with. Some of the Minnow Mind’R’s and Slab Slay’R’s appeared like the heads of the plastic bait was stuck on the mold and ripped as they were removed. I received some that were split and nearly in two pieces. Along with this the color was totally uneven and some with little or no color at all. The Itty Bit Swim’R’s that I ordered in the color “Mayfly”, which partially resembles the color “Monkey Shine” had a very little amounts of specks on the bait, with most of them not having any. Amazon was nice enough to send me out a replacement that was even worst. If this keeps up I will stop purchasing the Bobby Garland brand all together...

Great tiny bait if that’s what you need. Good action. Gave 4 stars because Bobby Garlands are softer than other brands for a barbed jig head. They often split at the head after only a few fish.
