These lures should be excellent this spring and summer around lily pads, stumps and other cover.
This is a top water bait that will cause commotion when properly retrieved and jerked. These lures are not deep diving lures as described,

The Lenbaby's deep diving crankbait are not as they are described. The small picture on the description shows what they really are. I gave the baits 4 stars for the misinformation. They are actually top floating poppers. I am very glad that they are since I have a lot of deep running, baits but am lacking in poppers.
These baits are cast out to a shore area or a weedy area and jigged in on top of the water. Since they have a concave front and they float, they have a tendency to pop in the water as they are pulled. Depending how they are retrieved and jigged, they just come back on the surface or they pop on the surface. These are great baits for large mouth bass. They work particularly well in the evening as the bass are coming to shore for the night feeding. The attention of the bass is brought to the bait by the sound and the ripple action on the surface.

These lures are colorful and the hoofs are sharp.
They are not crafted in the highest quality standards and the steel of the hooks seems a bit on the soft side.
They are also shipped in a plastic bag without hook protection so expect some damage, especially if Amazon ships them in a bag and not a box.
Overall quality is OK but I wish they were a bit higher quality and came in a plastic storage box. Guess you get what you pay for..
