Answer: No they don't. They are flat. I usually just make the liquids a little thicker than usual it they work out just fine.

Is this solid or mesh?! Can't be both as description implies. What is the difference between this and a fruit roll up tray?

Answer: I think if you put it under a microscope you could see the microscopic weave. They are silicone but breathable, they dry whatever you put on them faster then the fruit roll up tray, they are much lighter and very flexible. They keep most items from sticking. Even the banana slices that stick a little are easily removed and don't break up. I use them for nearly everything. They have been the answer to my requests.

will this fit any round dehydrator and can it be cut to size if the center where the air comes out is smaller?

Answer: These round dehydrator sheets will fit most Nesco dehydrators. I don't know about other brands. The solid sheets measure 12-3/8" and the inner diameter is 2-1/2". The circular dehydrator sheets can be cut to any size that you need with any scissors.

Answer: I haven't cut mine, I just center them around the hole and bend up the outside edges with my fingers by pressing it against the bottom of the tray. It bends easily and stays in place. They do look like cutting the edges wouldn't present any problems as long as your cutting tool is very sharp. I just found it easier to make the bend.

Answer: i think most dehydrators are standard size. my center is a little small but i make it work i did not want to cut it. they work really well. it takes a little longer to dehydrate but these mats make cleaning the trays very easy

Answer: These are 12 1/2 inches in diameter. I'm not familiar with the model that you mentioned. I center these in my dehydrator and run my finger around the inside edge of the tray. That makes about a quarter inch lip all around. Works for me. They work very well and the product dries evenly.

Will these fit a gourmia gfd1550?

Answer: I'm not sure if this brand of round dehydrator sheets will fit a Gourmia. The solid sheets measure 12-3/8" and the inner diameter is 2-1/2". Hope this helps.

Answer: I Purchased them. They are perfectly Flat and very thin. I imagine they are diecut. They work fine, and in fact I was able to trim mine to fit my model more precisely, since my model isn’t the exact one mentioned in the product description.

Would these sheets also fit on a Presto dehydrator (which is what I own) ?

Answer: Yes. They do. Presto trays actually have 2 sizes in each set. These sheets fit the large side of the trays exactly. Just drop it in. No work whatsoever. For the smaller side, I cut slits along the edges. The sheets then hugs around the trays. Very happy with the purchase.

Answer: These Homey brand dehydrator sheets measure 12-3/8" and the inner diameter is 2-1/2". I believe certain Presto dehydrators measure about 12".

Is it okay to place this on the bottom heating element of a Gourmia basic dehydrator?

Answer: I would not think so, as I don't know how it would handle any heating element with direct contact. In my dehydrator I have it an inch above on my first tray which is close to the heating element but it is not directly on it

Answer: Yes also the food takes a little longer to dehydrate using these on top of the trays but well worth the easy clean up

how well will these sheets work when making beef jerky?

Answer: I am vegan so I know nothing about beef jerky. I do use these to make a thick bean and veggie combo into dog kibble. Nothing sticks or leaks. I did have to cut larger holes but it was simple to do.

since these don't have a lip would they work for dehydrating eggs?

Answer: First, these did not fit my dehydrator, so know that I did not actually use them -- I donated them to someone who could use them with their dehydrator. But, that said, they ARE flat and felt almost like a rubber gripper used for opening jars. Unless they fight your trays tightly and go to the very edge, any liquids would run through at the edges of your trays. I do not remember them being porous, so am unsure if liquids would seep through.

I'm making flavored salts and drying them on parchment paper in the dehydrator. Will these trays hold salt or will the grains fall through?

Answer: I don't think that the salts would fall through. I have never had drip throughs with rather wet items on the trays onto the trays below. I find these tray covers really reliable and easily cleaned and use them a lot.

will these work with presto dehydro electric food dehydrator?

Answer: I have a Presto 6300. They are maybe 1/4 inch wider than the tray but could easily be trimmed with scissors if you want them perfect. It bothers me less that they're a little too big than if I made a mess out of cutting them....that's just me! The payoff is easy clean-up.

Answer: I have no experience with that particular model. Mine is a Mr. Coffee food dehydrator. I do have a friend that uses them in her square dehydrator.

How can I pour liquids in and expect no leakage? They are not raised on either the inside or outside edges. They are very flat.

Answer: I did not use mine with liquid, but I did use a thin paste like texture. And I only had one or two spots that dripped due to pressure of air. All I did was put them on a normal tray and stacked them up.

I do not suggest using these unless your dehydrator has ventilation or a forced air system. I tried these and the bottom tray partially dried and top tray dried but the three trays in between there was no change other than that is where the moisture collected.

These do not fit the Chefman 5 Tray Food Dehydrator. I should have double-checked the measurements, first, but because it indicated that they were "frequently bought together" I made an incorrect assumption. Will not order these again. Unfortunately, I think it's too late to return.

What a great product. I have been using them every day while dehydrating a number of different types of food for backpacking meals. Sauces, meats, rices, chili meals fruits, vegetables, anything Ive thrown at it. If you haven't tried them, you should.

Just what I needed to make the dehydration process easier. Cleanup is very easy. These things are very "slippery" so not much sticks to them. I did have to cut them to FIT my dehydrator, but I KNEW they would not be compatible with my model of dehydrator out of the box. No matter though. I order these and then returned them. The lip on the sheet is not very big. Unless you are using these with a thick paste this is not going to hold any liquids. I wanted to make my own dehydrated eggs, milk, and sour cream. These were not a good fit.

Easy to trim to fit. Super easy to clean and keeps trays clean. It does restrict airflow so drying times will increase. Had the most success with fruit leather. Use mesh for berries and herbs instead.

I make freezer bag meals for hiking/biking and these work great to keep the small items or shredded items from falling through. They are also great for dehydrating thicker sauces such as tomato or cheese. Unlike the fruit leather trays these seem keep the dehydration process more even.
