What are the recommended replacement hooks for this lure?

Answer: Depends I up graded my hooks to Mustad and caught a 50" Muskie my first day using it....

Answer: I’m not sure but I used four times stronger number four hook I Use for trolling and never had a problem

Answer: I prefer Gamagatsu

Answer: Kevin Van Dam recommends the Mustad wide gap up to a 2/0 hook for the 8.0 crankbaits. He has a YouTube video with the sizes of all the crankbaits and his recommendations of replacement hooks like he uses in his tournaments. Thanks for your question

can i use this on saltwater?

Answer: Yes you could use them in saltwater. Not sure what fish your targeting. It's more of a freshwater bait. Also hooks will rust very fast if not washed off after salt use

Answer: Very hard question to answer. Most colors are better than others during different times of the year. Best all around I would go w a shad color
