Mstrchief93 : Buy the Muse Gold or the Omen black if you are a 13 fan.

I have the 7’1” medium action model. I received it as a replacement for the Muse gold that I stupidly snapped the tip off of. The rod is pretty light, and comfortable to cast. However, compared to the Muse Gold, this rod is not sensitive, and I am not a big fan of the type of grip used compared to the Muse Gold. The Muse Gold allowed me to feel bottom better and feel fish nipping at hard jerkbaits. This rod isn’t quiet that sensitive, and I found it difficult to differentiate between bottom hardness with it. My recommendation would be to buy the 6’9” muse gold medium power rod. They are the same price, but the gold is an excellent rod. I would actually put the Muse Black below the Omen in terms of 13 fishing rods, and you can find an omen for 80 bucks. If you are looking for a sensitive rod and are just getting into 13 fishing I would recommend the omen, muse gold, and envy black gen 1 over this rod in a heart beat. This rod is adequate, but for the money there are better options for cheaper.
