What is the 2 /4-5 size? I’m confused. I’m looking for the black one but it says I need to buy the 2-4/5

Answer: 2 -4/5" is the size in inches. That is the total length of the lure, almost 3 inches. Black is good but the action of the lure is more important.

What colors would be good for Struper and Musky, respectively?

Answer: White and black were good for bass last fall. Havent caught anuthing on them this year. Only been fishing twice.

Answer: Hello this model is the Junior 2.59", 5/8 oz. The other is 3" 3/4oz.

Answer: I gave mine away to my fishing guide after a fishing trip to south America, but I had both sizes . I did use the jackal the most . But you can do as I did and but them all . That way you will not be confused anymore.

Drew Blanke : A fun topwater lure that just catches fish. Simple as that!

I just received this lure yesterday and immediately took it out to a pond to try it out. I was casting this on a medium-heavy fast action rod and found this to quickly become one of my favorite topwater lures!

After playing around with this lure and catching a lil' pond bass on him, I'd suggest to use this in shallower water where there is very little wind. The pompadour jr. is a very "loud" topwater lure due to its erratic actions and the internal bb's, so use this during glassy water conditions.

... but not the fish. Really neat lure in concept, but it is noisy. Not the noisy of a rattling crankbait... more like an unnatural metallic sound like a key ring jingling. I bought it last fall so I've cast it in all the fishing seasons... lakes, rivers, ponds, between cabbage patches, over structure, open water. I've even cast it when the top-water bite was hot using other lures. Have yet to get a single swipe at it let alone a hook up. Dang expensive lure to be a dud. Hey Jackall.... do us a righteous and put out a bass oreno lure. I'm reeling in nice chunks on the oreno my granddad gave me years ago.

Great top water lure, performance:
Second cast I had an awesome blow up, didn’t see hook well because I was surprised, but it has great action, haven’t been able to use much but if you have some hungry bass around they will definitely smash this guy.
Only cons are the hooks, they r sharp but not too durable and the barb is so small I didn’t even notice them until some time.
Over all a great lure.
