How big is the bait?

Answer: All Flap Slaps are 3 inches long and weigh 3/8oz. They're available in different diving rates as well.

How deep does it dive?

Answer: The Flap Slap dives between 6 to 10ft depending on line used and rod angle held during retrieve. I use mine on 10lb Fluorocarbon with the rod tip pointed at the lure during retrieve and it gets to about 8ft. This lure has a magical appeal to fish of several species, mainly Large & Smallmouth bass. Even Yellow Perch seem to attack it violently. You could certainly get more depth using lighter line, 8lb or 6lb test would send it to 10ft or deeper...

I've been fishing the lure mainly in Europe but also Lake Michigan. It has never ever caught anything, not even where other lures were successful.
The quality is superb, though. Have fished it for about 20 h in the water so far, not a single strike.
