I use these Mepps lures on my 3/4 weight fly rod when the going gets tough. Also easily applied to any lightweight spinning tackle.
Just caught about 5 trout this past weekend in thirty minutes with these after missing several hook-ups on flies while fishing in Ansel Adams Wilderness.
