What hook size?

Answer: These things are huge. All mine were a size 6. Not exaggerating. I just laid one out on my hook-size scale to answer this question. I was expecting they would be #14 or maybe as big as #12.

Flies I received are not the ones I ordered. Last time I check a dozen was twelve and only eight in the box. Think I'll say clear of the brand in the future.

When I saw this fly knew it was a winner before I tied it on, well made rugged, caught a nice rainbow on fourth cast a 3lb fish. Landed at least 20 fish to about 5 lbs. Used same all day a little ragged towards the end. The other flies look great too, but obviously didn't use them. Excellent .

I ordered 2 dozen black Kaufman stoneflies.. I recieved 1 dozen assorted size bead head pheasant tail nymphs and 1 dozen assorted standard black stoneflies.. I recieved nothing that I ordered all 24 flies look ok and I will keep to prevent further headaches but if your looking for Kaufman stones look else were it seems everyone that orders these gets completely different flies false advertisement at its finest
