I purchased this lure primarily for ice fishing, but since we are still a few months out I decided to tie it on this past weekend in open water. I was perch fishing on a local lake and hooked up within a few minutes. It was quite cold and the fish were a bit slow. I was able to bring this lure in with a nice slow retrieve. The weather was overcast and water was very cloudy, so I'm sure the rattle and glow were a big part of the success. This lure did well on the perch and I am even more excited to use it jigging on the ice. One minor negative- I was a bit disappointed when it first arrived because I don't feel the paint matches the image. Since I was catching fish on it already, I guess they don't mind. I received this lure at a discount in exchange for testing and reviewing the product. I stand by my review and do not give discounted products great reviews if they do not deserve them. I count on honest reviews when making purchases as much as you do!

This lure is outstanding through the ice, caught several fish on this right out of the wrapper the action on these lures are incredible, unfortunately mine remains in the mouth of a big trout in lake john colorado, ran along the edge of my ice hole and snapped the line, but none the less I will be buying another pink one, I also have the ghost and rainbow trout color and they all work great, from an avid colorado trout ice angler if you don't have this in your box your missing opportunities to wack em.

I bought this for my Fiance. He loves fishing. We were trying to find something that lights up and makes noise to attract the fish. The hooks are super sharp (sliced open a plastic water bottle when I accidentally set it on the lure, OUCH). When we opened the package we tested out the glowing feature in the middle of the day. We put it up to our lamp for about 20 seconds and the glow was VERY bright, even while being daylight.We have yet to use this actually fishing (mostly because he was worried about loosing it on the river and that is the only place we've been going recently). When we use it on a lake pond I will update the review further. :)

I dont know how I missed this is an ice fishing lure or why it came up when looking for crank bait. I thought I would try it out anyways. It doesn't move around or bounce, just drags through the water when reeling it in.

Anything you buy from Dynamic Lures is going to out preform anything you have ever used on the water. My favorite for the trout around here is the Tiger Craw, can't go wrong, both browns and rainbows go crazy over it.. you will throw out half of your fishing stuff or give to your friends, becaause this is all you need!
