Answer: I love the Black and Blue combo. Red would just add to it. Go for it.

Do you think a 4 inch craw trailer will fit good with this Jig.

Answer: You could totally use a 4 inch craw. I personally use it. But I also use anything that has floppy appendages

Answer: That's actually what I'm running right now. Should be just fine. The hook is big enough the trailer won't swallow it whole. In TN, dark blue and deep green have gotten me some good largemouth lately. Just starting to get really cold here. Hope this helps.

Answer: Pretty close to 2 inches from head to hook. The skirt makes it a tad longer, but not much.

Answer: I fish the Black Blue Purple a lot. It's my go to rig in Iowa waters. I add tinsel to it. A lot of tinsel. Gold or silver. Then I put pork rind trailer. The longest one I can find, and bump the rocks or bottom. Deadly.

I don't know why Jigs are so expensive. This one especially. They've got to be the most easy-to-loose baits on the planet for bank fishers. It's head design is not favorable for lakes with any type of underwater structure. It will get snagged! After successfully retrieving it from 4 snags I finally lost it on the 5th, all within an hour. If you do buy I'd suggest tying on with straight braid (no leader) so you'll keep it a little longer ????

For the price they are alright but the band they use for the skirt always slides down and makes the jig worthless after one snag or catch. Definitely need some more secure bands for the skirt.
