Answer: Yes they are for fly fishing , great package it's a pack of essential flies I have caught either a bass or a trout on every single fly in this package

Answer: Yes...but I use them with a clear water filled bobber. Cast it out and reel slowly. On a warm day with lots of bugs out pick one that look similar and will be very happy with the results

flies are tied OK, I guess they didn't specifically SAY that they were DRY flies, but I was pretty shocked when they sink to the bottom like a rock. Not for top water fishing. For the price they"re OK but will definitely not get used alot when the new batch of Orvis flies arrives.

Flies were poorly pack and all hooked with one another.... which destroyed some of them. Also like everyone else I didn't get 24 flies. The quality of the flies are ok, but due to sloppy packing and not getting what I paid for I would not recommend, keep looking.

An amazing set of flies for an even better price. All are tied very well and are very neat. They were packed into one tiny box as others have noted, but in less than a minute they were laid out much like the pic on this page. I will be buying more.

Flies fall apart very easily, not tied very well and they sink quite fast for being a small size dry fly even while using silicone flotant. On the positive side they still catch very finicky trout :)

Good Quality flies, tied well and with care… packaged poorly with little care.

All my flies were wadded up together in a ball and stuffed in a tiny little box… not on a board/foam or labeled.
That is what you get at this price point.

I was also missing the full two dozen like other reviews said.

All that being said, this is a fantastic deal for a starter fly box.
