Answer: Yes they are for fly fishing , great package it's a pack of essential flies I have caught either a bass or a trout on every single fly in this package

Answer: Yes...but I use them with a clear water filled bobber. Cast it out and reel slowly. On a warm day with lots of bugs out pick one that look similar and will be very happy with the results

A great assortment for starting out! Bought these for a family member who wants to get into fly fishing here in Colorado. Definitely a good value for all of the different flies that you get, and a great starter pack.

Flies were poorly pack and all hooked with one another.... which destroyed some of them. Also like everyone else I didn't get 24 flies. The quality of the flies are ok, but due to sloppy packing and not getting what I paid for I would not recommend, keep looking.

There were 21 flies in the box I received. The box was labeled "2 Dozen".....I've always thought that a dozen was equal to twelve...therefore two dozen would be equal to 24.....bummer....
