How do u attach it on your line?

Answer: You just tie it to the ( eye ) end. Snap end goes on the bottom where you attach sinker.

Answer: U use it for flounder out if the bay. So I use #2 or # 3 circle j hook

DO NOT BUY THESE - I bought 30 of these rigs b/c of the cheap price. I was using them in salt water fishing for Red Fish (aka spot tail bass) when I had a huge hit on live mullet (on the order of a 5 to 10 lb bass range). The fight lasted literally less than 5 seconds. The clip where the hook was attached, bent open straight and the hook slide off. When I inspected the metal that secures the clip (the brass part) - it is complete crap. I can bend it with my fingers with next to zero effort. If you want to actually catch a fish, don't buy this junk.

At 46 cents per leader, I do not know what people are expecting. Surely not something suitable for deep sea fishing! I have fished with these in fresh and salt water. They perform well for small 1 to 2 pound fish. Much more than that and the latch will disengage and you loose your fish. I have begun using pliers to crimp the latch closed once the hook has been installed. That seems to do the trick. For the price of this product and the fact that I am fishing from a dock I find these leaders to be a very good value.

You will have to replace the snaps, they are weak and will bend. However, I must say on a day when no one else was catching anything I caught quite a but when I switched over, but I did lose a sailcat when he bent my snap and fell back in the water with my hook.

Says 10 pieces I got 1. snaps are light weight. open if you get a fish with any weight or good fight in them. I crimp my snaps closed all the way after putting hooks on seems to work better. Draw back is you cant take hook back off without weakening snap.

I'm amazed at how high the quality of this product is! The length is greater than I expected so I'll get a great bait spread and the side snaps aren't wired into the main line so when the fish spins so will the leader! My normal break offs with this type of rig is from small shark species spinning it up and twisting the leader until they snap over time. With the design of this product it lengthen the life of the leader. Also it's not 10 pieces, it's actually 10 packs of 2 leaders, so 20 pieces! I'm stocked up now!

We used these with a 2 oz surf weight. With hooks baited, a brisk cast caused the leader to come apart leaving only the small piece that you tied into.

This happened twice.

Later in our trip, my son hooked a nice fish pier fishing and within a few seconds of fighting the fish the same thing happened and the fish was lost.

I sent a message to be company. They requested a photo of the broken pieces remaining. Needless to say, I didn't save them.
I threw away the remaining brand new leaders. No refund was offered despite a detailed message of concern I sent.

These may work for very light bait and very small fish, however if you hook anything big you WILL lose the fish.

I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. I haven't tried to use them because mine do not have any clasps, not one of the 10. I thought about buying some to attach to the swivel but will probably just eat the cost and continue to tie my own.

I use these crappie rigs a lot and I have had no problems with them. The ones I had are very old so I need new ones. So I ordered these and when I used them well 3 and I lost my fishes and the rigs to. The customer service was great at giving back my refund and was nice. But I WILL NOT BUY AGAIN FROM THEM.

I fished this rig for a few hours before going back to my old loose-line rig.

It worked well. My only complaint was fish loss due to the snap twisting loose under the stress of a good 30" class redfish. I will probably re-tool them with stronger swivel-based snaps & give it another go.

But, for anything smaller than that, it proved to be a good product for me.

One leader of the nine I received (not the promised ten) held together to catch a bat-ray with a 30" wing-tip. But another leader broke when something hit my line hard. The crimping that makes a loop at the top must have been too loose, or otherwise defective. When I retrieved my line, all I had left was the double metal eye at the very top of the leader. Also, the snap closures for the hooks and sinker don't have much spring in them after some use. I've needed to use pliers to bend the snaps so they will hook closed again. I'd recommend these leaders for smaller fish, maybe five pounds and under. Though, you never really know what size fish will take your bait, especially when fishing in the ocean.
