Answer: Yes the pic was an older reel, but the one I received is the newer model. It's shell is red plastic. It works fine and I'm happy with it, but it isn't the model in the picture.

Works well but takes for ever to reel in. The ratio is poor but it clear in the specs.. I just didn't realize how many turns it would take. When I hooked onto a largemouth bass I thought it was large by the effort it took to reel in, it wasn't large.
