Michael : Cheap plastic

This is a great largemouth bass lure that I use for late fall fishing here in New England. This particular lure (shad rap 6) broke the first day I used it. The clear plastic part cracked when I bounced the lure on the surface of the water attempting to remove some weeds I hooked. It may have been defective. I purchased a shad rap 9 that seems to be a bit more durable. It also seems to be getting more hits.
