One of the BEST lures in my box. It's right up there with Rapala stickbaits and Mepps Aglia. I have a whole box dedicated them.
Why?
The lure is versatile. Smaller sizes work well for Trout in rivers. A bit larger for Browns. Larger still, for Bass and Pickerel.

Being metal, the lure casts well.
The lure is not as heavy/massive as Castmaster or Crocodile, so it sinks slower and had a nice wobble action while sinking and upon retrieve. In addition, it's doesn't splash as much when it hits the water.
I like silver best. When I fish Bass/Pickerel, I use a 1/6 oz size and replace the treble hook with a larger size.
