Is it a 2 peices??

Answer: In my experience the Third number in the product number represents if it’s a one page or 2 Piece. This is a 701 therefore it’s a one piece. If you want a two piece 7’0” pole, you want a 702.

C. Pilot : Excellent Rod, but purchased 2x and arrived broken both times

I have mixed feelings about posting this review, because I love this rod and would normally give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, both times that I tried to buy this rod through Amazon (and/or one of their venders but still shipped by Amazon) the rod has arrived broken, but I decided to to just keep this a review of the product. My normal source for this rod (a local sporting goods chain) does not stock them anymore. This is my favorite rod for fishing in-shore saltwater, love the fast action, love the length, pairs perfectly with a Daiwa Crossfire 2000 or 2500 reel, making a really nice under $60 combo. If you can get the rod locally, I highly recommend buying it, but I cannot recommend ordering it through Amazon.
