Brad's Killer-Fish can be fished unwrapped or wrapped with your favorite bait or scent!

Tips for Success:

Wrapping: While Killer-Fish can be fished unwrapped, the most deadly effective method is to wrap your Killer-Fish with a bait fillet or chopped bait. Sardine, herring, anchovy, smelt, coon shrimp, or oil packed tuna are very effective options. Center your fillet or chopped bait around the belly eyelet of your Killer-Fish. If your wrap is not centered, it can change the action of your Killer-Fish. Secure your wrap with elastic thread or small rubber bands.

Change your wrap every 30-60 minutes. This ensures your scent & bait trail is fresh.
Keep your Killer-Fish clean! Salmon can smell in the parts per billion, so wash them down with Lemon Joy Non-Ultra to remove any foreign scents.
“Let ‘em eat it!” It is very important to let the rod pulse a few times before picking it up. Picking up your rod too soon can rip the Killer-Fish right out of the salmon’s mouth.

Answer: no those are not the ones that open. the ones that open have holes on the bottom of both sides of the luer. they also have a tubber band holding them closed at the tail.

Answer: Yes...it's designed for either anchor fishing in heavy current or trolling at speeds up to 4mph

I read a review of these lures in one of my husband's fishing/hunting magazines and decided I would sneak in a quick order and kick his butt on opening day of salmon season. He was so shocked that I had not only ordered some, but I had found them on of all places Amazon.com. Not risking that I might have an edge, he quickly followed with an order of his own. Let me just say, BEST LURE EVER!!

We limited out many mornings and this lure constantly did its job. We caught more fish on the large pink/chartruse than any other. We were not happy, however, to see the price of this lure jump up by the day. What would necessitate this product jumping from a $6 price point on a Monday to $11 a few days later? Why? At the end of the day, whatever was done to modify the old (also effective lures of this style), the changes certainly worked for our boat. Good job!!
