I’m not a professional but I bass fish at least once a week. I bought one of these and spent a week at Sam rayburn lake (Texas) where I threw this lure a few times. It throws easy even into the wind. I caught three times more than my buddy who was throwing a red crank bait. I raised my rod tip and it will skip the grass under the surface well. Lower the rod tip and it dives as it should. By far the best lure of the trip!

Well those trout were hitting anything so it's not a true test. But there was a lot of excitement. Now think about it. A trout hits a little minnow good and fierce and hooks up good. So I don't know -- these are worth it. Now when I was fishing steelhead on the Cowlitz river these size and shape of lure were the thing and that excitement was off the hook!!! So get a few and be ready for excitement.
