Questions about Livetarget Hollow Body Frog
Q:
does it fill up with water like most hollow bodies do
Answer: I don’t have any problems that way. It’s my first choice frog.
Answer: Mine does not.
Answer: no, never happened
Q:
Do these (1-3/4 size) float the way they should ? others i might consider that are better (small sizes) ? have never fished a frog before. thanks; b
Answer: Very good lure. About every 5 or 6 casts I will squeeze the body. Sometime a little water comes out sometimes not. They float either way. If there is a little water inside it sit a very little bit tail heavy. You won't notice it a lot fishing pads and mats. Only if trying to walk it.
Answer: This one is quite large, but fish still get caught. It sits in the water just fine and you can walk the dog with ease. Just make sure you wait a second or two before setting the hook

Answer: Floats great. Bass love it.
Answer: I never had either. I got it for my son. He tied it on the line. First cast a bass came out and got it. He didn't tie it well and off came the lure. Impressive, but I'm not sure I would definitely tell you that it's the best lure. Not a bad first cast. Not going ot break the bank so take a chance on it.
Q:
Is a 1.75 inch too small to fish a lake with
Answer: It's not too small to fish a lake at all. However, if you are looking to catch bigger fish I would go with the 2.5" or even the 2.75" for lake fishing. The 1.75" is best for small pond fishing.
Answer: Only if you think a 1.75 inch frog would be there
Answer: Match the size to what the fish regularly eat. I have about 12 different frogs I use.
Answer: No. I get more bites and fewer missed strikes with the smaller frog.
Q:
What is wieght of lure?
Answer: I can’t tell by the picture which size this is. I mostly throw the smallest one on a baitcaster. The larger one gets fewer bites, for me. It’s heavy enough.
Answer: About the same as a small frog
Q:
How much does the 1.75 frog weigh?
Answer: No idea. I can cast it a nice distance.
Q:
Whats the differance in the 1.75 and 1.75 1/4oz?
Answer: 1.75 inch and weights 1/4 oz, this is the only weight I have seen in the 1.75 inch
Answer: nothing. They are the same, just depends who uploads the products on Amazon. Sometime information gets duplicated depending on who is offering the product
Q:
How much does the 2.25" frog weigh?
Answer: No idea. I tend to use the smaller version most of the time.
Q:
Does this work on A big river
Answer: Yes I fish with them in the California delta all the time
Answer: I doubt it. Calm to slow water. Walk the dog bait.
Q:
Is the length you choose when ordering the overall length or just the head length?
Answer: just the body length
Answer: The length of the body only.
Q:
What difference does the weight make in the name?
Answer: Ok looks like two questions so weight difference usually refers to size and as far as name live target hands down in my opinion has the most realistic looking frogs on market
Answer: The weight doesn't make a difference it's just saying how much it weighs for how long it is but I don't know why it has to have 2 different options for the sizes. It never made a difference for me.
Q:
Will this work on a river
Answer: Definitely. I use it on the Snake River in Idaho for small mouth. I usually fish slow moving water, but I have had some great blowups.
Answer: I don't see why it wouldn't. Any game fish will hit this lure.
Answer: I bought this for my brother. I'm sorry, but I have no idea.

JC : My Brother Loves This!
One of my older brothers loves to fish. I had no idea what type of bait to buy for him. I looked at the reviews for this product and decided to send him one. He is familiar with this bait and loves it so much, he refuses to use it! He keeps it as a souvenir :-)
Thomas E. Mohr : Five Stars
great bait
Donald O : Work great!
Im sure we all agree there are tons of lures out there and they all do the same. I felt that way until I bought this lure for my wife. She caught a nice Northern and Bass on her first day out. And we have a VERY weeded lake. Since than she has caught other Northerns. She just casts from out dock by the way!!! Have bought a few others in this line also with good luck.

Chris : Not a real live target.
I ordered the green yellow frog, it came in a clear plactic bad, the legs are half as long as shown in the picture and all in all it does not look to good. I'm doubting it's a line target.
Alden Mann : buy it
These straight up catch fish
Nhan Hong : Five Stars

Dennis H. : Bass like it
Catches Bass. Better book up ratio.
Jerry Svanda : Very disappointed 12 year old
Split in half the very first time my some used it. Saved his money for it.
MJ-54 : Great possibilities ahead for this guy!
Looks great and is well balanced. I haven’t caught any bass on the green - yet, but I will. I just need to experiment more with times of the day, the moon, wind, and water temp.
Justin Mcainey : Not Weedless, poor customer support
Product is not weedless. I’ve used other frogs and not had an issue. This item had solid reviews so it’s possible the item was defective but they refused to offer any sort of post purchase support. Other frogs have not given me any issues, this one did. I rate 1 star for poor durability and quality.
Leslie Gregg : Bass attract
I fish for bass with my buddy and my first frog was a Koppers Live Target. My buddy was big on fishing the worm, and has recently gotten into a faster fishing technique using the square bills and other diving crackbaits. When we came up on a set of lilly pads in Sandusky Bay, I tossed the frog out in the middle and worked it back to the boat. It wasn't long before the water was disturbed by a frog hammering the frog. I wish I could tell you that I caught a 10 pounder, or even wish I could tell you that I landed the fish that exploded on the frog, but my inexperience setting the hook is what cost me the catch. Needless to say, after a few missed explosions, I eventually landed my first fish while frog fishing, and since improved my hook set. Let it be known that at the time, I felt it was MY inexperience that cost me the fish, not the hooks, or the frog itself. To date, I used the frog mostly the entire summer catching solid fish, and getting bites. There are better frogs out there, but the Koppers Live Target is a solid pick. So lifelike in the paint job, and stands up to the test of durability in my opinion.
Bduchwlxhxg : My Second-Favorite Lure
This is a great lure for dragging over lily pads! It's got a lot of weight in it, so you can cast far and jig it back to yourself. Rarely gets stuck on anything.
Deep Diver : I do not normally take the time to rate any ...
I do not normally take the time to rate any of Amazon's products because they want one to write a summary of their thoughts about a product. It appears that five stars are not enough. However, I must abandon that policy to say that the Floating Frog Hollow-Body Lure will do the job. I purchased the 1-3/4 inch Green/Yellow and the larger 2.25 inch size in White/Black and Green/Yellow. I used all three on Lake Seminole during a tournament. Neither size of the Green/Yellow produced success. The 2.25 inch White lure was very successful. I caught almost 15 pounds on the lure fishing grass and hydrilla. I also lost at least three good-sized bass before I could land them. I think that the bass wanted a light color lure that day. I eventually lost the lure on a boat house’s roof while pitching to docks. After I lost the lure I did not catch any more fish. I immediately purchased two more White/Black Koppers Hollow-Belly frog lures from Amazon to replace the one I lost.
Gee Nou Yang : Live Target Frogs are my favorite go-to frogs

jfw : ok works in the small size
only bought because the smallest size works for urban ponds
G. Johnson : Quality lure.
Well made, sharp hooks, casts far, rides nicely on the surface, does not fill with water (unless a strike of course) and totally weedless. You get what you pay for with this.

Mitchell Rawlings : This Frog slays the Bass!
Some Guys talking here about shortening the "legs", adjusting the hooks....no need it is great as is! I take it with me golfing on the California golf course ponds in late evening and it destroys the Bass! I have a 5 foot Ugly Stick, Light Shimano 1000 reel. 10lb spider wire, and my 1.75 frogs and catch Bass as long as there is light! 5' Rod short enough to not draw attention standing next to my golf bag in the golf cart! :>) Caught 10 Bass ranging from 3-5 pounds in less than 30 minutes just before dark on a 100 degree day last week! Most were taking it seconds after the cast! One or two short twitches and the others were hooked I had a 95% strike/catch rate! Never damaged the lure....they cannot resist this totally weedless 1.75 drawn across the weeds!
Alden Mann : buy it

Philip N Brown : Every fisherman should have one
Every fisherman should have one
sabers : 100% worth it!
Hyper-realistic. Some of the most fun youll having fishing is dawn/dusk frogwalking. This one is pretty big, but 10-12in smallmouth bass will still smoke this fella. Definitely recommended.
Just make sure to wait a second before setting the hooks, lets the bass gobble it up.
