With the added weight these can be cast nearly to another time zone. They sink quickly so you can get them to depth and start reeling fast. These pull in smallmouth and various others (sunfish and bluegill seem to like them too) as well as the standard Aglia style. These are just much heavier, like the XD version
My only complaint was having to buy a whole pack of them instead of just buying the one or two color patterns I actually use.
