How are these for saltwater pier fishing, particularly gulf coast? Anyone had any luck with these? What colors?

what is the lenght of this lure and the wt? thanks

Answer: 3 inch and 5/16 of an ounce. These are the best popers that I've ever used. I've caught more bass on these than any other lure. I use the threadfin shad pattern.

Answer: From tail to tip is 3 inches. Weight is 0.8 ounces I recommend the shad colors

How do i order one specific lure? i want the treadfin shad lure only.

hands down best popper ever used and i fish a lot of top water you can actually walk the dog with this heddon popper too and works well never tried the jr this popper is kinda big but still worked good

For my money, the best of it's kind ever made. I've seen better pure poppers, but depending on how you work it this one will pop, chug, spit, twitch, and walk the dog. I have three colors; baby bass out-fishes the other two put together. The larger size is equally good, and the Heddon Spittin' Image is also excellent on top.

I've been fishing for 60+ years. These are my favorite top water baits for bass, although I occasionally get northern pike, crappie and bluegill (yes, bluegill!). They are a good weight for a long cast and really work well with short pops and longer hesitations. Cast. Let sit for five seconds. Pop once. Hesitate a few more seconds. Bang! Pretty impressive bait around logs and over rock bars. Have fun!
