Eddie : I really like the closed wire loop

Has caught numerous bass in stained water during late spring. I use a trailer hook with this. I really like the closed wire loop. It keeps the bait from being tangledon the cast.

The very first time I took it out of the package and cast it out it caught me a large mouth bass. Definitely works if the fish are looking to bite a spinnerbait. This lure definitely works.

I needed a new spinner bait since most of my old ones had skirts that fell off on the first cast. I bought this on Amazon because I did not want to travel 10 miles to grab some more and the reviews looked promising. I must say that it is much smaller than I thought it would be and much lighter as well. I was using a Med weight rod with 12lb test so that probably made a huge difference in how it worked/felt. With my setup I could barely feel it and my accuracy was horrid. But, after about 5 casts it worked and I landed a 19" Largemouth. Ok, Ok, maybe it was only 9 inches but it worked. I would recommend this if you are using lighter gear.

I especially like the fact that the spinner arm has a closed loop rather than just a bend where you attach it to your line. With the closed loop you can use a swivel snap, making it easy to change lures without cutting your line and retying,

This was short lived. About four cast and it snagged into some weeds and was gone for good. Can't give it a high rating because I never really got to really fish with it. Presentation was nice and it was delivered promptly.

I bought two of these. One had a barbless hook; the other had a cut-out barb on the hook. These lures are not advertised as "barbless" so I'm going to guess that the former lure is factory-defective.

These lures are advertised to "catch everything that swims," and I thought I might have fun catching crappie with them. However, these are very definitely bass lures. They're small as bass spinnerbaits go, and perhaps useful in those cases where the bass want something like that, but the hook is about 2/0 in size and probably too much for all but the largest crappie.

I would have liked something a bit more versatile in a 1/8 ounce lure, personally, and that barbless hook probably should not have left the factory.
