I heard all about how good this lure was, so i bought it in chrome blue 1.5 inch. The size is nice for perch, bass, crappie, and walleye; it has really nice action. But it didn't really produce that well for me though the ice. I got a couple fish on it but not much. When i would switch to a small jigging spoon i'd get a fish every drop. I'll give this lure another try in the summer to see if it works any better. Overall, i was expecting this lure to be outstanding like everyone was claiming. But it didn't really produce for me.

I have been using this lure for ice fishing for several years now. Yes the plastic fin is a little bit fragile but the only time I have broken one off is when a fish takes it down deep and then using pliers to remove hook I break it. However I sometimes watch my presentation with my underwater camera and there is little difference in the action between good and broken lure. And I have left the broken ones on and still caught fish. I recommend the 1.25 inch for my area its the hotter size and deffinatley the best lure for Ice Walleye on the lake I fish. I tip the treble hook with a minnow head or tale, seems to help. This lure out fishes a plain minnow.

Been using these jigs for ice fishing for years. Sometimes even works better than live bait. My only issue is like some other lures PRICE. For crying out loud they can not cost this much to manufacture! Too all lure manufacturers stop ripping us off!
