Should there be any gap in the loop on the back to which the line is tied?? There's a small one and it looks like the line could slip through

Answer: Mine is closed, but I can see how there could be a gap. It's not a great design. Looks like the loop is just pressed closed. I may try to solder it before I fish with it.
