Answer: ALL poppers are floating lures.

Answer: This is what my son said he is a avid fisher and just bought this and already used it. He said its a floater , with a BUT!! It does not cast to far unless you use weights then when you do that it sinks.. Hope that helped. NOTE: I did not personally use this lure was bought for my son he is responding to this question.

Love this lure. Is a top water lure and the bass really go for it. Hooks are small but sharp. Caught 3 pounder first night using it.

I have other top water poppers and this one doesn't pop well. I had a hard time getting it to track straight or demonstrate a consistent action. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I do not know why but this really works unusually well. Evn large bass hit this and Blugills more than all mu lures except flies.

I love Rebel lures and the regular hopper has produced hundreds of fish for me. But, this is a mystery to me. It has no movement in the water and kinda just plows through. I try to hop it but it doesn't look at all like a hopper would. Not sure what they were thinking with this one. Still have not caught a fish with it. Quality seems okay though.

I haven't been able to buy this lure from our local stores for several years. It used to be hot!!! Definitely a must for all tackle boxes! I happen to spot this randomly on Amazon!!! So I bought one and I am way excited to use it. Unfortunately I have to wait till next year when the ice breaks up. I have used this for trout, bluegill, perch, and largemouth bass. Fun lure!!
