Answer: Helps catch anything that swims. Good for salt and fresh water.

Answer: Not sure what you mean by "spots" but the one for sure thing this stuff does do is mask bad scents to may have on your hands/lures. Proven fact that sunscreen and petroleum products on your hands when handling line, leaders and lures is a big-time fish deterrent. I've seen it with Snook, Redfish, and Trout!

Answer: My experience with jacks is that they will hit anything that moves if they are feeding, If they aren't feeding, I would think that a scent would help and pro-cure is the best. Bill

Does it come off each cast?

Answer: Not really. It’s more a of a greasy gel. Depending on what you put it on, it lasts quite a while. It leaves a texture similar to that of a silicone lubricant spray, and it sticks really well to your bait (not the scented gulp baits though) and dissolves off into the water leaving the scent.

Answer: No I usually replace it after about a half hour. It stays on very well.

Does it catch carp?

Answer: I would probably look more at the Carp Spit. Or Sweet Corn Super Gel. Model numbers are G2-CRP and G2-CRN. Both those scents would work for you

Answer: As long as you keep it out of extreme heat situations it will last 7-10 years

Answer: Have not tried it on trout but it has worked on everything else both fresh and salt. It is intended for salt but everything eats shrimp.

Answer: Yes. And if you use a smaller, lighter rig, it works great for ling cod too.

Answer: It helps any fish bite any lure. Really improves jigs and plugs but I use it on everything. After all, what fish doesn't like shrimp?

I first used this surf fishing on the OBX. Applying the product to cut mullet was the ticket,, I caught noticeably more fish than my buddies using the same bait and tactics. Only difference was the pro-cure. Product sticks to bait nicely and appears to stay put longer than expected. Great stuff

I love this stuff for inshore fishing. I think it does make a difference, especially with flounder. I like to add this to my zman plastics.

One word of caution though. If there is pinfish, they will eat this up.

Also, be careful not to get it on your braided line, it will make casting less effective.

Used in conjunction with a DOA shrimp, this product out fished Gulp on the flats catching trout. Also, in a pinch, if you have NO bait you can put some on a piece of cloth and catch pinfish if you need live bait when a Cobia is using your boat for shade.

Maybe the Houston sun is too hot for this product, but it does not come out as a gel. It comes out as a liquid and does not stay on lure past the first cast.

Works well. I definitely noticed an increase on strikes. the gel seems to do as it is advertised, disperse a scent in the water to attract more fish. I noticed the gel really helped when slow bumping my plastics on the bottom for flounder and reds. The gel visibly stayed on my plastics for about 15-20 casts, but didn't add any more until I felt necessary. Make sure you bring a towel with you to wipe the stuff off your hands. Washing your hands off in the water still leaves a greasy residue and you need to wipe it somewhere besides your clothes, or else you will smell like a shrimp. I would and will definitely buy the product again once I run out. You do not have to apply a lot to your baits, just streak down one side, then rub it around the bait (Why you need the towel) and you are good to go! First few trips out I have landed Snook, flounder, trout, reds. Numbers did seem to increase.

Pro Cure Shrimp gel was recommended by a fishing show on TV, which shows you can catch quite a bit of fish.
It does the job, caught fish, no fish that were legal yet.
