Can you use this on a circle hook?

Answer: It says on container to only use #4 or #6 treble hooks. This stuff is great when used as directed.

Answer: It works better on a circle hook, but I have a problem with it staying on my hook, I've tried different ingredients to mix with the bait but it still washes off. If there was some way to make it more solid so it would stay on.

Answer: No as it will fall off, maybe with a sock set up. number 6 treble works the best for 5lbs and under otherwise you dealing with broke hooks

I have a hard time getting it to stay on a hook, it needs something added to make it more firmer, I've tried mixing other stuff with it but to no avail. Even in still waters it comes off when I cast.

I have been using DK blood for 8 years and still have yet to catch a fish using it. Get bites but no fish. I just bought a fresh tub the other day and same story. Just can't figure. The opposite is true when using other punch baits with Sure Shot working best. Score = 2 tubs DK blood, 0 fish.

This stuff is rank. It stinks which is a plus for catfish. It has hair in it, that makes it really disturbing . I mixed it with chicken livers. Going to the lake in a few days.We'll see if it helps.

I use this bait to add scent. Glad it worked b/c I got channel catfish yesterday in December. I thought catfish we're not active during cold weather but they were caught by shrimp mixed with this scent. Just a warning, this bait is stinky. Be careful to handle it and don't let it stuck in your hands. If it is, it will take time to wash to remove the smell.
