Answer: The Benthos jig comes with a single assist hook about 8/0 that is pretty good quality in construction. I have used the benthos to catch cobia, grouper, black fin tuna, and red snapper in the GOM and have had great luck with them. We have been able to catch multiple fish on the same jog without having to replace the assist hook.

I use these offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Have caught grouper, snapper, and cobia on these jigs. Amazon has better pricing than the local tackle shops. Pre-rigged with hooks and ready to fish.
