How many are in the box?

Answer: There was 12 in the 1/4 oz size

what is the hook size?

Answer: The lenght of the whole thing is aprox 3 inches and the loop is about 1 1/2 inches wide. Can't tell the size I threw away the original box but they are pretty large and they are flat and very sharp! Hope that helps

Answer: I don't know. But it's nice and heavy. Works well for 3-4" gulp shrimp. Have fished them all. For inshore these are right.

Ultrametal : Saltwater tested

I've used a lot of local jig head types and out of all these so far have stood the test of time on inshore saltwater fishing. The lead construction bonding to the hook holds up to punishment from toothy trout to hammering redfish. But most of all if you like to use Gulp baits from shrimp to shad and worms this jig has done the best at gripping the spongy gulp baits. Most other jigs will work a few casts then the gulp will slip to the back of the hook. The price here saves me a few bucks but the convenience factor is great, starting around October/November you'll not find these in the area thanks to the flounder fever.
