What is the size of element? 10.75”?

This measured the same as mine but mine says that it is a 450w and not a 400w. Will it still work? the 450w i have found isn't shaped the same .

I bought one at a local store. Turned out to be the wrong one. Did some research and found the right one though Amazon.
Was a little tricky to figure out how to install it, but got her done! Works great so far. Smoked fresh halibut, turned out awesome!

Crazy Head : Direct replacement

My old element still works but is not quite as hot as it was when it was new. When I installed this one I kept the old one as a spare. These Big Chief smokers are, without a doubt, the best value smoker out there. This is a quality part that plugs strait in without issues. A couple of phillips head screws and thats about it. Great product. High quality part.
