Whats the difference in the 05 and 07 shad?

Answer: The difference between 05 and 07 is the overall length. 07 = 2.75 inches. Also, for standard shad raps, as size increases so does the depth, unless its a shallow runner or scatter rap. Hooks size usually increases.

The first cast I made with my new shad rap hooked a muskie we estimated over 36 inches. We were getting ready to leave the resort Marina & I just flipped it out about 30 feet. I have had quite a few of these. Very effective, trolling or retrieving. However it doesn't cast far due to light weight. The back starts to show sign of cracking up after about a season, which seems reasonable. The tail end starts to chip off about the same time. Generally it's made in high quality though...paints stay on really well, for example. I would give a 4.5 star rating and will buy again.
