L : Fine enough, regular swim jig

I have used these swim jigs in the past with success. These are standard swim jigs meaning there is no heavy gauge hook, but these do have a bb rattle capsule, which is nice for when you give it a snap or pause while retrieving in the water. The skirts and weed guards hold up well enough and are easy to trim. If decide to fish these on straight braid, I recommend scarring the paint in the eye hook since the paint is thick and slippery, at least from what I have experienced. Also, the bb rattle capsule, when left on, makes you have to use a smaller diameter trailer, but this swim jig is regular duty in my opinion, however, I do fish in grassy, weedy Florida.

As you can see in the image, the hook point is as blunt as a baseball bat, rendering the lure virtually useless as is. I very much doubt I could pull a hook that dull through a ripe banana let alone a fish's lip.

Given Amazon's delivery issues lately, it's not worth trying to send it back and waiting for a new one -- never really knowing if it will ever show up or not -- so I will find a way to file it down and sharpen it, but I shouldn't have to.

To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement; suffice it to say this will be the last Booyah product I will ever buy.

Avid Angler : These Swim Jigs are downright sloppily made, Booyah has made better...

I purchased two of these Booyah Swim'N Jigs in Shad White and two in the Black Chartreuse. These Swim Jigs are downright sloppily made, there is an excessive amounts of epoxy used holding the weed guard into the head. On one of these it was so excessive that there was epoxy stuck on the guard, on the rattle and on the hook point also. Two of the White jigs looked like someone had tried to sharpen the hooks, and did a poor job at that. This explains to me why some comments are complaining of rust, my hooks had some of the plating filed off, and the jigs were new and never opened. Very dissipointed.
