Product reviews of Waboba Unisex's Airlyft
Shopaholic : Great garden lockdown fun
Lovely funky pattern suitable for male or female boy or girl. Great gift idea. As you can see the item is rubberised on the end (the end you point with when throwing). The back is like an airsock wind tunnel. Lightweight allowing the item to aerodynamically glide through the air. The item is easy to catch. A great alternative to a ball for playing catch and aids fine motor skills. Nicely packaged. Would recommend.
jcmacc : Surprisingly efficient glider
The Airlyft is a fantastic glider - throw it with just a hint of spin and it goes huge distances. The main rubber ring makes it safe and comfortable to catch and the fabric tail is robust enough to last.
Although the Amazon listing says indoor and outdoor use, I don't see many indoor spaces where you'd benefit from the aerodynamics other than somewhere like a sports hall. Outdoors it can drift with a bit of wind, and a slight misthrow can end up a long way off target given the range, so I'd advise use in open spaces, away from trees it could be caught in.
Overall, a surprisingly effective glider and an excellent "throw and catch" toy.
Gemma ????????☕️???????????? : So much fun!!
I was a little dubious about how well this would work or if it would be worth it but from the first throw we realised it was actually really cool and fun to play with.
The whole thing is a simple round piece of rubber with a tube of thin fabric on it. All too need to do is throw it. We discovered you can throw it a multitude of ways with different outcomes, but it always travels far and fast and makes trying to catch it really fun.
Just trying it out across out open plan house we lost track of time and ended up throwing it back and forth, in the most extra ways we could think of, for 45 minutes (I would highly recommend only using it outside though as we did knock a few things over in the process), and we can’t wait to meet up with friend and throw it about.
Overall I’m extremely happy with this item, it’s way more fun than I thought it would be and I’d most definitely recommend it.
Wilde's Cabbage : The Ball-less Sports Equivalent
From the makers of the hugely popular Moon Ball ...certainly at our son's school, this new Airlyft is also quite unique.
Its super aerodynamic - a perfect shape for flight. Even in the slightest wind, it can travel a good distance. It's very light, made of squash stiff nylon, with a lightweight silicone ring to one end.
It can be thrown, flung, heaved, launched and lobbed a number of ways, by the tail end or even by the 'o' ring. Always behaving differently depending on how you propel it.
We've been taking it on our country walks, it comes into it's own in a vast open space. The bright colours helps it get noticed in the young maize fields, but adds an extra challenge for the kids to forage for it when it inadvertently changes directions in the light wind.
The kids equally love pitching it at each other from one side of the hall to the other whilst indoors in the most obscure ways - to make it all the more difficult to catch. In the absence of indoor squash club due to Covid, it offers a ball-less equivalent.
Adrian Bailey : Surprised how good this is.
Surprised how good this is. Its so simple and cheap. Very convenient that it fits in a pocket.

J.Cats : took us all by surprise
At first I wasn't sure on this however, we took it to our local park and boy does this thing fly. Even my 4 year old could through it far enough for it to be a fun game of catch! you just hold the corner of the tail and even the smallest flick and this glides into the air. It was so much fun and my kids (ages 4,6 and 9) all loved it and now we take it with us every time.
