So I lived in the Phoenix area for 50 years, and fished a lot of the central Arizona lakes. I never was much for fishing jigs, using mostly cranks and spinner baits. I moved to South Carolina and started fishing Wateree Lake without much success. I noticed the neighbor kid with a couple of nice bass on his stringer. He caught them using jigs he said. A couple days later he had an 8 pound bass with him, while I was getting skunked. I ordered some Rock Crawler jigs and started hitting the bass the day they arrived. I haven't got my 8 pounder yet, but I'm sure she's out there. I had to move clear across the country to discover killer jigs right where I'd lived for most of my life.

Good lure but hook up ratio is poor. Lost a lot after setting the hook. Hook is easily shaken out of the bass’ mouth so be sure to not let them break the surface and head shake or you’re done.
