Can this be used with freezer bags or sandwich bags?

Answer: I have sealed sandwich bags, although you must practice as the bags are very thin and can melt easily. I hav not tried freezer bags yet.

Do i have to wait to get heat to use or when power ON i can use it right away?

Answer: If it is a thin plastic bag, you can seal it directly without preheating. If it is a thick bag, you can preheat for 3-5s, the sealing effect will be better.
