Product reviews of Vacuum Sealer Bags, KOMUEE 200 Quart Vacuum Sealer Storage Bags 8x12 Inch for Food Saver, Seal a Meal Sealers, Heavy Duty Commercial Grade, Sous Vide Vaccume Meal Safe, Universal Pre-Cut Bag
Kenneth Lee : good product & recommend
first time using this product & very good. highly recommend
J. Campbell : Great value
Wow! I can’t believe you get a hundred bags in this set! This has to be so much more than you get in those rolls. Granted a roll is a lot easier than storing 100 bags flat, but I’ll take the value over storage convenience any day of the week! The nice thing is they work perfectly! Zero issues vacuuming two filets recently and they’ve stayed air tight. Great value and highly recommended!
Cam : Awesome, Thick Bags for Use on a Vacuum Sealer
These bags are very sturdy and maybe even a little TOO thick for some applications. However, I can't ding them for being this way because it is evident in the photos that they are going to probably be a bit more heavy duty than one may be used to.
We have used these with our vacuum sealer and find that these bags work very well with it. We have sealed items that have gone into the pantry and others that have gone into the freezer. Everything has either been sealed and/or vacuumed without any hiccups at all.
Great bags and good combination with a great sealing machine!
Michael J. Edelman : A handy size with a useful feature
I haven’t seen these pint-sized vacuum seal bags before. Most are much larger, ranging from a quart to a gallon. But sometimes I want to vacuum seal a single fish fillet, or small quantity spices or herbs, or flavorings for a homemade backing meal. This is an excellent size for that purpose. Another nice touch is that they’re pre-notched, making them easy to tear open without the need for a knife or scissors. The price is good, too.
Chris F. : A good bag at a good price
While these vacuum sealing bags don't seem quite at strong or thick as those that came with my sealing machine, they are definitely lower cost.
Either way, they function well to seal up a variety of foods, and seem to distribute liquid fairly evenly as it vacuums out of moist foods.
Duane A. Priest : Heavy duty gallon-sized bags for freezer or sous-vide
Our household relies on our vacuum sealer regularly. We specifically buy meats in larger quantities, then split the packages into meal-sized portions and use the vacuum sealer to seal those portions for freezing. We also enjoy using our sous-vide to prepare foods, and using a vacuum seal bag is a necessity to properly cook using the sous-vide technique.
We use pre-cut bags exclusively. When I first started using a vacuum sealer, I played with the rolls of bags, but I frequently found that they leak or that the in-home seals aren't as stable. Using a pre-cut bag is a timesaver, and it means that 3 of the 4 seals on the bag are performed in the factory and are far more stable than those performed by the sealer. For me, the slight added expense of buying bags versus rolls is a no-brainer.
These bags are 11 x 16 inches, or gallon-sized, which is definitely necessary for larger roasts, chickens, etc. that you want to freeze. We also use these to store and freeze soups and chilis. I've used several of these bags since my order, and all have worked perfectly with my sealer, and have both retained a seal (or not leaked,) meaning that they are free of holes or weak areas (as this is a problem with some of the economically-priced bags in the marketplace.)
To-date these bags have performed extremely well, and based upon my experience I would definitely order them again. Ordering bags in quantity definitely makes them more affordable, and a package of 200 bags should last for some time.
clyde cates : Good value
This is the way to seal your food.
mike kramper : Only received 100 bags not 200
Only received 100
Yam2 : Food saver bags
I use these bags to portion out food to freeze. They seem to work well.
steve c. : Good quality and great price
These bags are already cut to size,u just load them up and seal
Kraig : Good for more than just food.
I don't use gallon bags as much as quart, but having them on hand when you want to freeze a whole roast is great. These are heaver than many other bags I've used. They pump out and seal well, and hold the vacuum perfectly as long as you're careful to seal them correctly. I also found another use for them; they will just hold a standard roll of 3D printer filament. Will keep it nice and dry. If you're careful, you can get many cycles out of these when used this way because of their length.
clyde cates : Good value
This is the way to seal your food.
Mona Lisa (M.W.) : Very good sealer bags and economical too
I do a lot of Sous Vide and have been using the water displacement method to get the air out of Ziplock bags. Never again! Using a vacuum packer and bags is in my opinion a much better way to go whether for Sous Vide or freezing.
At around 8 cents a bag, these Komuee bags are a good value, and if you Sous Vide a lot you will love the convenience of the pre-cut bags. The bags are sturdy and perform very well with my off-brand sealer featured in the video as well as my Food Saver. They're easy to store flat in the bags they come in and if you have other sizes you can just stack the different sizes on top of each other in order of size. Much better than dealing with rolls that have to be cut.
This 8x12 size is very useful for a lot of foods. Highly recommended!

gsxr : 200 bags, good value
I buy food in bulk, then divide and vacuum seal it. So I can go through a lot of bags. I prefer the precut bags to using the rolls, the bags are faster and easier to use. The quart-sized bag is the most common sized bag I use for portion sizes for one to three people.
These bags work perfectly with my vacuum sealer. There are 200 bags in this package, so this is a very good value. I will reorder when the time comes.

Perry C. Gittings : The ease of using and not having to cut individual bags
I have not opened or used this product yet.
NAmerica : Too many don't seal or leak
I have 3 different vacuum sealers from 2 different manufacturers. High failure rate.
Jerry Scoppa : Bags work great - larger size is awesome for bigger meals!
These bags are great! Often times I try and cram more into a bag than I should. The gallon size is perfect for the larger cuts of meat, or multiple pounds of potatoes. They seal just as well as the big name brands, but at a much more affordable cost!
Safet : All good
Good easy to use
Les : Seems To Work But Ends Of Bags Tend to Curl
Review of Vacuum Sealer Bags, Komuee 100 Quart Vacuum Sealer Storage Bags 8x12 Inch for Food Saver, Seal a Meal Sealers, Heavy Duty Commercial Grade, Sous Vide Vaccume (sic) Meal Safe, Universal Pre-Cut Bag sold by Komuee US
Reviews for various sizes and counts are mixed together. What I received and am reviewing is the 8 x 12 inch (20.3 x 30.5 cm) pack of 100. Listed volume is one quart which converts to 0.95 liters but volume is approximate.
Please note that the listed dimensions are the outer dimensions and the sealed area of the three pre-sealed sides each takes about 0.25 inches away in terms of actual storage volume.
Used a bag for some beef and the bag sealed well in my name-brand vacuum sealer and after a couple of weeks still holds.
I have noted curling with the either end of the bags while sitting around. The curling for me is more pronounced at the top (open) end. This does not seem to interfere with sealing so far.
These were shipped in a very thin plastic wrapping inside of an envelope so there is not firm structure present to prevent the curling.
Barry J Bolling : Great vac pack bags!
Great vac pack bags!
TA Ling : 6 x 10 vac bags
Like these, use them yesterday to vacuum seal habaneros and ghost from the garden. Bag and freeze them. I got tire of cutting down large bags down to size. So much easier this way with the 6 x 10 bags. Can see placing steak in them for sure.
C. : Love to use to storage food
I use vacuum packs all the time to store food. One of my pet peeves is using the roller packs, bc i have to cut, seal, vacuum and seal again. That's 2 extra steps (cut, seal) that i dont' want to do. So, i like using pre-cut packages that i can use to just seal once. Most of the food i use can fit into this size anyways, so it's perfect. Keeps my food fresh and
Snowball : A good set of Vacuum Sealer Bags
This is a review of KOMUEE Vacuum Sealer Bags
What You Get (Figures 1, 2) 200 quart-sized vacuum sealer bags, 8 x 12 inches (20.3 x 30.5cm) width, height.
Usage I use vacuum bags for any number of things, including non-food items. However, my primary usage is for storage of food destined for the walk-in freezer. An additional advantage to these bags is since they are BPA free, they can be used in a sous vide water bath.
The Test I took three random bags from the set, then filled them with equal amounts of marbles, and vacuumed sealed them. Bag one went into the freezer for one week. Bag two was left out on the counter for one week. Bag three went into a hot sous vide bath for 24 hours.
All three bags kept their vacuum seal, and that says it all to me.
Bottom Line Easy to work with, perfectly hold their seal, are BPA free, and are easy to label with a magic marker. If you vacuum seal items, these are a good buy.

HEYOOO : Great bags
These bags are fantastic. They seal well and hold that seal. No complaints at all. I have the 10 inch version and the 11 inch version. I use the 10 inch for coffee beans and the 11 inch for 3D printer filament spools (they fit perfectly in 11inches)
Amazon Customer : WORTHLESS!! DO NOT BUY!!!
Worst bags ever! Wouldn't hold a seal even when double sealed! Waste of money! It's a scam! Be better off using saran wrap????
Eric San Juan : Just what we needed!
Investing in a vacuum sealer has made a HUGE difference in how we handle our food and food storage, so any time we have more options as far as bags go, we welcome them with open arms.
We've used the KOMUEE brand before, in a different size, and were happy with the results. I'm glad to say the same holds true for these 10x13 bags. They worked with our sealer easily and sealed great. The fact that they are BPA free is a bonus. Size is good and accurately labeled. Perfect for freezing soups and sauces (just lay flat), as well as veggies from the garden and other goods.
And the price is quite good. This package contains 200 bags, which is enough to last most households a good long while. Thumbs up!

Mona Lisa (M.W.) : Excellent bags, good value
I have several different sizes of Komulee bags as well as other brands, and I've really come to like this brand a lot. They're sturdy, vacuum well, and hold a seal. Of course, it always helps to own a good sealer. (mine does a double seal) This 11x16 bag is huge compared to my other sizes. Would be good for a big chuck roast, chicken, etc. I recently used one to vacuum pack a large, half head of cabbage to keep fresh in the fridge after I used the other half. I probably won't be using this large size that often, but it will be handy to have when I need a large bag.
Clark Isaacs : Many times you need a bag that is a bit larger!
This is the bag which fills your needs for putting larger items into the freezer and the smaller premade bags just are not quite large enough. Also, this is very strong and you can take advantage of making a Sous Vide item in a larger bag without fear since this one is very tough!
It works well with a vacuum sealers and it is a bag that closes very tight the first time. Many times I have had to reseal bags because they were not closing tight enough. Not with this bag so that you can put a large roast in and not worry that it will get freezer burn.
Great item and one that you will be glad that you have. We highly recommend this bag!
Safet : All good
Good easy to use
Charmin' Farmer : Wonderful price. Averages out to about 15 cent per bag. Larger quart size. Great for 2 servings.
These are great vacuum sealer bags. I usually buy rolls since the work well on my Foodsaver V4400, however the bags are easier to use because they already have three sides sealed up. These are BPA free, so they can be used for the microwave, freezer, and for boiling.
The bags are large enough to hold two servings of whatever I'm freezing, and fairly thick and sturdy. They work well with chicken breast, ribs, and porkloin. I do have to be careful about bone placement, and occasionally one ruptures, but they average out to 15 cent per bag. These are low cost, economical, and a great way to save meat when I get a good price. I've even used these to freeze eggs. I flash freeze the eggs first, then place in the vacuum bags. It keeps them from sticking together, and it deters freezer burn.
I'll definitely be getting more of these. I just use a plastic storage tote to keep them clean and stored since they don't fit in the sealer. They have a good, thick texture and the bubble surface inside feels just like OEM bags. The textured surface is what makes it possible to do a vacuum on these bags and I have had no issues with dry or wet ingredients with my Food saver. A different model vacuum may work different, but these are easy to use and all I have to do is choose wet or dry on my machine, place the bag in the machine, and it simultaneously vacuums the bag, and seals it. These are long enough that I can even get a double seal on the ends as a precaution in case the first one breaks.
These are measured in quarts, but it's a dry quart. The bags are 10 inches by 13 inches, but do allow for some puff in them. They measure out to closer to 0.30 or nearly 1/3 of a gallon with a dry quart.
Robin Snyder : Great for Creating Portions
I got these because I love storing food and buying in bulk but sometimes it is hard to get the sizes of the bags just right. These are perfect for separating meat, rice or other items for meal prep. The video attached the bag has 6 cups of rice in it.
I have a Toprime Vacuum Sealer and I have had a little trouble with a few of the liners I've bought for it, not everything has really worked great. But these bags as you can see in the video sealed so fast. I was able to vacupack my rice in 20 seconds. I did about 20 bags of 6 cups of rice. I did have one bag out of 20 not keep completely sealed and let some air in. I couldn't find the leak point.
The premade bags make using this so convenient and I like that I can use them as a guide for when I use the rolls to make bags.
mrcox6150 : Great value
These bags work just fine with my muller machine.
Zero : Great size for chicken breast
I sous vide chicken breast and these are just the right size. I can slide the chicken into the bag carefully without getting too much wet, add seasoning and then vacuum seal the one side. I've not had a single one fail on me. When I was closing the ends myself I had a lot of leaks. Not with these bags.
I like that when the sous vide is done I can just tear the end off the bag. Nice little tear spots.
AnitaAZ : Cost effective, no punctures or leaks, good texture
Way more cost effective than buying the "make your own" rolls off the shelf.
We buy in bulk then process and vacuum seal.
These bags have good texture allowing our vacuum sealer to do it's job sucking the air out. They are not as thick as some we've used but haven't had any tearing, puncturing or leaking problems. Although we do pad sharp bones with wax paper even when using thicker bags.
If you do the math these are a no brainer.
Also great for portioned meal prep.
Good bags we would definitely order them again.
Thank you!
Amazon Customer : You get what you pay for
This is one of those you get what you pay for. I first had brand name sealer bags and read the reviews for these and thought I’d give them a try. These do not seal as tight as the brand name bags. One side is smooth and the other is textured, as with the name brand bags, both sides of the bag are textured. I must say the value is good, but if I can’t get a good seal, then I’ll have lost money in the end. I ended up returning the bags.
tom4416 : Seals better than "make your own".
I had received the pint version of these through the Vine program and was very impressed so decided to try these since they were the same brand and bigger than all the other quart size bags out there. The difference isn't huge but it really helps in getting larger or multiple items into the bag.
I love these ready made bags because whenever I buy the "make your own" on a roll, there are always wrinkles in the material which causes them not to seal properly or I have to seal them twice. These bags are all perfectly flat and seal properly every single time.
Yes, they are a big more expensive to buy this way but there are not wasted bags and the convenience factor is huge if you are doing a lot of storage all at one time.
Michael Quider : Great vacuum seal bags
Bags work great, and are a great price for the size and quantity. Will order other sizes.
R. Precourt : Affordable and convenient, good quality
These bags have worked well and are very convenient in that you do not have to form individual bags from a roll because they are already seals on three sides. Just insert the food you want to store and seal the bag. Quick and easy.
They have worked well for us and do save a lot of time for items that fit. They were a good value for the quantity and I would recommend having them around. We still use the rolls for larger items, but many things fit these bags and I prefer to use them whenever possible.
Sara A : Not staying sealed
These bags look great upon first sealing, and maybe I just got a bad batch, but only 2 out of the 30-40 bags we used held a seal. The others started loosening up right away. This was in both of our vacuum sealers. The other bags we use have been fine.
Anonymous by Necessity : A little extra space comes in handy!
I love to sous vide, and nothing beats the convenience of a pre-made sous vide bag, ready to fill, vacuum seal and put in the water! In the past, I’ve used bags that were 8x10 and 8x12, and found that one or the other met most of my needs. But occasionally just a little bit bigger bag was needed, and I’d have to get out a roll of 11” material and cut a larger one to size. These 10x13 bags make that a much less frequent occurrence!
These appear to be the same weight as all the other pre-made sous vide bags I’ve used, and one side has a texture, which aids in extracting air during the vacuum sealing process. I like to pre-season steaks and pork chops, add a pat of butter, maybe a little olive oil, then seal and freeze the packages, noting the contents with a permanent marker. They hold up well in the freezer, and can be thawed in cold water or placed directly in the sous vide container and cooked fro frozen!
We’re very satisfied with these bags and highly recommend their purchase!
Allen Furniss : Super bags
These bags are well worth the money.
Mona Lisa (M.W.) : Good bags, useful size.
I have several different sizes of these pre-cut KOMUEE brand bags. They're good bags and I'm spoiled by the convenience of having them ready to grab and go. Storing the un-used flat bags is also easier than storing roll-type sealer bags. This quart size is probably the size that I use most on a daily basis. It's a great size for Sous Vide as well as freezing.
If you vacuum pack a lot as I do, this is a good value. I always recycle the bags by cutting them open so that I can wash them easily and dry them.
Johnny : Can these Komuee vac seal bags convert a loyal Weston user?
We do own an excellent Weston meat slicer yet have been using VacMaster bags for years, always preferring the mesh style that leaves juices behind and not as often sucked into the sealer drip tray. VacMaster bags are getting harder to get and no longer a good buy. Most important, the Weston bags are thick and haven’t failed me yet. I ordered these from Komuee in both gallon and quart sizes. How do they rate in comparion?
These are quite good with mesh one one side like Weston yet I urge the good folks at Komuee to list their thickness. I suspect 2 to 2.5 mil in comparison to Weston at 3. They seal reliably and early on in my experience with these, I think they’ll hold up well for several months in the freezer.
One neat option, Komueee has one option for quart bags that’s called “Plus” and it’s a useful inch bigger. Good idea.
Setsuna2Senshi : Sealer Bags
These are great quality for the price! Will buy again!
