I ordered these lures with sort of low expectations with it having no reviews and all but I’m blown away. I saw in the pics that they were all made of ABS plastic and I’m not sure that they actually are. The shiny ones on the left are pretty heavy for what they are and feel as if it were metal. The coating is nice everywhere but the eye ring, that’s already showing a bit of wear but I’m not sure that they were meant to be coated. The listing says top water but these metal ones definitely aren’t. I’ve thought about using the one in the video as a vertical jig in saltwater.
The 4 on the right have more of a traditional plastic feel, has a nice rattle and offer a nice variety. These have a better slower sinking action and can be used more for a top water/upper water column bait. I can see myself using these 4 more for freshwater and the other 5 for saltwater.
Both sets have plenty sharp hooks, I can attest to the with my several tries to make that video. The kit also includes a pack of beads, ring replacements and some small swivels - it’s a nice addition but I’m not sure that I’ll be using it with these lures anytime soon.
Overall, this product is really good for the price at not even $2 a lure. Couldn’t recommend it more!
